  3. Hi jktefft, I felt the same way you did but I was able to get through it. I am so glad I did because I really believe that by sticking with it my healing after surgery went much smoother then I thought. The healing process has a lot to do with the Protein you are taking priot to surgery that prepares your body for surgery. Stick with it, you won't regret it.

  7. Yes, I get a similar feeling, not really pain but just a little uncomfortable. That is my indicator that I need to quit eating, that is my full indicator.

  9. I lost 10 pouds in 2 weeks drinking 4 protein shakes a day, light yogurt, sugar free jello and sugar free pudding. This is all I ate every day for two weeks.
  10. Congratulation! It really is a new life. I had surgery on 8/23/13 and don't regret it for one minute.

  12. I drank Isopure for the first week after surgery. I didn't like the flavors very much but it did give me the protein i needed. It's a little pricey but is easy to drink because its a pure liquid drink.
  13. Thanks everyone! sharonlaff, I am losing about 2 to 3 pounds a week.
  14. Hi, I am six weeks out and can only seem to take in about 900 calories per day, if this normal? Don't get me wrong, I am very happy about the continued weight loss I just want to make sure I am getting the correct amount of calories. Thanks everyone for your help!

  18. Thanks Harley. I am doing pretty well. I can get most of my food in and my liquid and protein for the most part. How are you doing?

  21. Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am just one week postop. Had the vertical sleeve procedure on 8/23. Found this website while searching for answers. So far so good. Getting a little tired of mushy food but it's worth it!
