heartburn hell!

I was sleeved 8/29 and everything has been great. Not having much trouble getting my liquids in or anything. The #1 issue is this raging heartburn!! I take pepcid every day but its not helping. I cant sleep tonight because every time I get comfortable it comes raring back. Are tums ok to use until I can call the doc in the AM?

Dr. Aceves told me that Tums cause acid rebound. He recommends Gaviscon.

You need to get on a PPI . Call your doctor and tell him/her about this heartburn and that your medication is not working.

Yep, seems to time for a PPI!
