Incision question

I was sleeved on 8/9. My doctors office removed my staples on 8/16. (I had 39). I have 7 incisions. I have stitches sticking out of 3-4 if the incisions and they poke me. Is this normal?

Staples? 7 incisions? 5 incisions and no staples just tape.

Yes this is normal. It is the internal stiches. You can trim them down with a pair of sterile nail clippers, or wait to see the doc and have him do it. I am so sorry you had to have staples and stiches on the outside! All I had was steri strips!

Yes, it's normal. Point it out to your doctor the next time you have an appointment.

5 incisions and steri tape for me ...

They out steri strips on the incisions when the removed the staples but a couple days later I had a reaction to them and had to remove them. Made a blister. They aren't long enough to trim yet. Glad it's normal. Thanks guys.

No stitches for me only glue on my 5 incisions looks like I had nothing done.
