  • I think that in the first few months, you really have to work hard at eating all the wrong things to not lose weight. Physically, there is only so much space in your sleeve for food, so it is almost a

not sure how anyone can not lose anything with the sleeve. They take out 85% of ur stomach. You're bound to lose some weight. I can see how some may not lose all their weight by eating sliders' date=' etc. But to fail to lose any? I'm skeptical. How can u not lose weight with only 15% of ur stomach left?[/quote']

I'm wondering the same thing two ppl on this thread already said they haven't lost a pound idk how to feel about that... Like everyone else I just don't want to fail :-(

You will not fail! I had my surgery may first as of aug 15 I have lost 76 lbs. now I will tell you I am not exercising 6 hours a day. Fact is I hate going to the gym. Been just walking. You can do it. It is a tool but you will love your new life. Ask yourself do I like the wall I have around myself I.e. the fat you have on you. Yes I will use the F word. You are blocking the real you, change is hard and the box you have been in is easy. You may not like it but you are use to it. Come on and bust out. Don't let your drug food rule your life any more! We are here for you even if no one else is. You need and want to live. I have gotten rid of 4 pills connected to my weight and health situation. I hope at the end of the month to get rid of at least 2 more. I want to live for myself and my kids. You can too... Reach for the stars because its there. You can do it. If I can anyone can. Even if I don't lose another pound I would be happy. I am at least at a weight where people are not as judgemental of me because of my size. Also I am at least in a size 16-18 were I can get some regular clothes. I want to loose another 60 lbs and who knows. I might even get a man in my life again. Or go back to school like I planned or a job in management. The sky's the limit! Please give yourself the gift of your life back.

Everybody is different I thought I only lost 5 pounds after surgery but when I went to my post op visit a week after I lost 23 lbs I be lost a total of 35 lbs in 3weeks I feel great haven't felt like this in 20 years. Don't think negative everything your doing us for the best. No regrets.
