Stalking the forums

I've been browsing these forums for about a month trying to get my finger on what actually goes on with the sleeve. With the information that I have learned from you guys, I have decided that when it finally happens, the sleeve is the way I want to go. I have had my initial consultation, and done the psych eval and just completed the upper GI requested by the surgeon last week. Now I am patiently waiting for the next step... hopefully I will hear something from them soon.

Best of luck to you! For me, it was the best decision I could have made. Hope all goes well for you!

So glad this site has helped you; it has helped me a bunch too! Don't be a stranger to the forums though--feel free to ask questions and to share your experiences. After all, without all of these awesome people sharing their stories, none of us would know what to expect! :)

Good luck starting the process!

A great choice. Best decision for me! Good luck!

Welcome to the forums, glad to see you come out from stalking and share your story with us. We look forward to getting to know you better and following your progress.

Wow. I remember my post like yours almost three years ago. More than two years out from surgery and 17 months at goal weight of 21.8 BMI, I am happy with my choice.

Best wishes on your journey!

My job is working in a very large oil camp and it is very physical but I just can't seem to loose the weight and am always hungry. That is why I have decided to have this surgery oct 21/13
