New to this forum/website and looking for support and to connect with people who have or are having the sleeve surgery. I hope to connect with some people from the MD/DC area especially.

I am scheduled, tentatively, for surgery on Aug. 29. I've spent the last 3 months going through all the necessary clearances. I'm really excited, not scared at all. I've had 2 c-sections, so hopefully this will be similar in terms of recovery.

Welcome! I live in Germantown, MD - not far from you! I'm 2 months post-op (yesterday) and had my sleeve done in Reston, VA. Welcome to the boards - your surgery is tentatively scheduled for the day after my birthday!
