silly question

I was sitting here reading some posts and this question popped into my head. After you have the surgery do you stay the night in the hospital? If so, how many days?

Yes u stay... It depends on your doctor and how u are doing... I stayed 3 days because I caught post op pneumonia

Typically 1-2 nights depending on your recovery and insurance allowance. I was approved for 1 night by my insurance but my doctor kept me a 2nd night -- glad he did but I was ready to go after that. Good luck with your journey!!!

Our office use to require 1 night but now it's 2 nights.

I stayed one night, but my surgery went super smooth with no complications.

I was in for 1 night, also. Felt fine but that first day went really fast and I was trying to remember all that went on with all the people I talked to.

just one night for me...that is the norm with my surgeon

I've been here 4 nights because I need to confirm I can get down the required liquids

Typically my dr. has patients in the hospital for 2 days.
