Dumb ?...are you intubated for surgery?

As a nurse I know different types of anesthesia require intubation and some don't. I'm not an OR nurse though so I'm not sure if the sleeve will require me to be intubated. That part freaks me out the most.

I too would like to know this!! If also like to know if a spinal/epidural is required!? I read someone had an epidural....ugh no thanks! After having my son that puts me off of having more kids! LOL

Yep. I was intubated but don't worry, they put you to sleep first :)

Yes intubated but you won't remember. Possibly a sore throat after, I didn't have one after my gall bladder though.

I was also intubated, but it was in and out when I was unconscious.

I was...but they put it in after I was out and pulled it out before I woke up so I don't remember a thing. Good luck! :)

I was but don't remember it. It did make me feel like I have a sinus infection and a very sore throat several days though.
