Anyone feel 'normal' after getting their staples out?

  • Popular Post

As soon as my staples were removed I felt like old me! If I didn't take all these vitamins and could eat like the old me I wouldn't think I'd have had surgery...BUT I do take a stack of vitamins and my diet is VERY different, so I know he did something in there. Here's to feeling normal!!

What staples?

I think it's fantastic that you feel so normal, only better than normal, really!

I just had my staples out this a.m., and I don't quite feel normal yet, but I'm definitely on my way. :D

Staples??? I hope my surgeon isn't using those...

My staples are titanium and permanent on the sleeve itself. I had internal disslolving sutures on my incisions but all that was visible to me was blobs of purple surgical glue on the outer incision sites, which eroded on their own in the shower over two or three weeks.

Yeah, I thot the stomach was the only part stapled inside. I better make sure I ask about that!

I had internal stitches & glue...plus external staples just to make sure everything stayed closed! :) I had them for 10 days. On day 10 I had them removed! :)

I have staples too cannot wait for next week when they are removed.

Does it hurt to remove the staples? I was sleeved tues and my insicions are jus sore. So im wondering if I will have pain all over again!

We said , did our Dr. Do anything becsuse other than my stables I feel normal. I can drink with no problem. Eat soft food with no problem. Tuesday will be my 3 weeks....will see.
