No appetite

I am almost 6 week post opp and I find that I don't want to eat, is this normal at 6 weeks? Has anyone else have this happen???

I'm almost 5 weeks and This probably isn't at all what you mean but I just don't want to bother with eating. I dont have any interest in eating or drinking, I just do it.

My appetite returned around 3 weeks post-op ... drinking helps it subside - for a while. I am also on Prilosec. But, it is not the same hunger I felt before. Just a reminder that I need to eat or drink something.

This is common, maybe not for everyone, but. Look up Ghrelin, it might help explain one possibility!

Also if you are doing high protein, low carb you will feel fuller.
