June 26, 201313 yr I've seen a few pear posts but no apples. I'm a apple and I'd like to see and know how everyone is liking their bodies post op..
June 26, 201313 yr Surgery was June 3...so still an apple here. Anxious to see the other replies to your post.
June 26, 201313 yr I am considered an "apple" my weight loss is going well... I am finally losing from my stomach which is awesome. Pre-Surgery I was a VERY tight 20... probably should have been a 22/24... Now I am a 12/14... It is AWESOME!

June 26, 201313 yr where did you start losing? Surprisingly enough I really noticed the loss first in my arms and back, also in my legs (I didn't need to lose from there and I was hoping that would be last lol) But I don't have to worry about the dreaded back fat at all anymore which is awesome! My stomach is going away slowly but surely...

June 26, 201313 yr yeah I'm worried about losing in my legs...if they get thinner before my stomach I'm going to look so weird lol. I already looked weird before my surgery... I was so un-proportioned... But now my body is starting to proportion out a little better... I am still a size 12 or 14 in my waist and probably a 8 or 10 in my legs... But I have found size 13 Jrs clothes fit me well, I just struggle not finding something too low rise...
June 26, 201313 yr I was pretty much an apple with huge legs at 335 Now at 256 I'm shaped like a coke bottle/pear still with huge legs... Stomach has been the first to go. waist has gone from a 53 to a 42 and hips has gone from 58 to 50 bust has gone from 53 to 48

June 27, 201313 yr Apple shape here. Down 65lbs and not looking so round. The pic is a month old so I will post updated pics when I take them this weekend.
June 27, 201313 yr I'm an apple! But even though I lost just a few lbs, I'm looking less, uh, applely. I'm excited to see what my body shape will be. I've never been a normal weight, so this is pretty exciting.
June 27, 201313 yr I was a complete apple. I looked pregnant - I am not kidding. I was a tight tight size 16 before surgery. Today I am comfortably in 2s and 4s. I don't have the "apple" shape anymore - and hope I never will! I am SO HAPPY that I had this surgery when I did. I am short (5'3") and my original personal goal was 120 lbs. I have lowered that goal to 115 lbs but wonder if that might be pushing it a bit. I have had a few stalls but have just stayed on track. I love my new shape - my tummy is not flat but I am planning on fixing that soon!
June 30, 201313 yr I'm definitely an apple (or maybe an upside down pear?)? Much bigger on top than bottom. Carry all my fat in chest and stomach and backfat (ugly). 18 mth ago, I was 9 lbs from goal and I had to wear a shawl with my sleeveless wedding dress cuz of my ugly backfat. That's really discouraging. Alas, I've gained 30 lbs back over the last 18 mths (band slip) so I'm now that much farther from my goal (it's gone down to 130 now). I'm hoping that dropping my goal a bit (it was 135) will make the backfat dissapear. I went to the plastic surgeon for an estimate on a TT, lip on my neck/chin area, and lipo on my back. She said it wasn't bad at all and she didn't recommend doing it. My hubby agrees with her. Anyway, hate being an apple. I'm like a marshmallow being held up with 2 toothpicks...
