What do I eat on the way home?

I know I'll be on liquids after my surgery but what type of liquids? Clear only? I have a 7 hour flight home and I'm worried about what to"eat". Will I even be hungry or would buying some Gatorade be all I need.

  • I drank Gatorade and apple juice on my flights home. You have to buy it there at the airport. They won't let you take more than 3 oz through security.

  • Water with crystal light or another type of flavor thing would be good. Just stick it in your carry on and buy water at the air port. Good luck

If it were me, I'd have several Syntrax packets that I could mix with Water.

I had my Unjury chicken broth powder.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to find some kind of portable dry protein powder to mix in some juuce or something.

I was on clears for the first week. I bought two vitamin water zeros in the airport and drank them on the plane. I didn't take protein supplements for my first week. just clears.

Cannot find that Vitamin Water Zero Revive anywhere. I've found the regular VW Revive but not the Zero. Not even on Amazon.

Not every place will carry every flavor. I order it from the coca-cola distributor when I make the order for the store. Also, if a customer promises to buy from me on a regular basis, I gladly stock products just for them, your local mom and pop will likely do the same. They can order a case of 24 with their Coca-cola order and the shelf life is usually 4 months on the vitamin waters so as long as you promise to buy from them regularly, they might stock just for you.. I do it all the time for people.

I bought a gatorade at the airport. Then on the plane I had the attendant pour me half glass of apple juice and half water. Was wishing they had jello, but all I could find was yogurt which I wasn't aloud to have yet.
