Thank you for asking this. I hadn't thought of avocado. HOORAY for avocados!!!

  • I make tuna fish "sandwiches". I mix the avocado with the tuna instead of mayo and wrap in warm baby spinach leaves.

  • I ate them just sliced. Great food. Gives you the right fats and in the soft food stage some much needed calories.

I'm just wondering? How often everyone has to go to the NUT? my doctor told me i only need to go when I see him. (Back to back appts). Which is 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months & then a year....

The plan I was put on was pre op, 2 weeks post op, 6 weeks, 3 months(optional) 6 months and 1 year.

Blender up some white meat chicken; spread a little smashed avocado on it.

When I could eat soft foods, I was allowed very thinly sliced deli meat. I liked to wrap delimeat around a piece of an avocado.. YUM!
