I am being sleeved June 11. I start my pre-op food tomorrow, well actually today now. Im getting really nervous as the time gets closer. I had the EGD done a couple of weeks ago and he found a hernia that he will also repair. Anyone with encouraging words would be greatly appreciated about now. Lol

How 'bout this. I am going in today and after 6 months of prep I am ready!

I am having surgery on June 6. I am looking forward to getting this completed. I started my journey last September. My husband and I are doing this together. He had surgery May 9 and is doing great. I have a little catching up to him, but we are supporting each other in this journey. I started clear liquid diet today and so far I am getting through this day.....one day at a time.

My surgery is june 6th also! Start liquids only tomorrow. My decision to have bariatric surgery was only made after intensive research and talking with lots of people who have had it done. I originally was looking at bypass because my insurance would not cover the sleeve. So glad that insurance starting covering the sleeve in January. So thankful as I believe that the sleeve is what is right for me! I have run the gamut of emotions! Happy, excited, nervous, scared and now back to ready to start the next phase of this incredible journey!
