oh you poor darling.. I haven't been sleeved yet (another 6 weeks ) but when I had my lapband done I got shoulder tip pain.. Worst pain ever.. I would have rather have given birth to my 6 children again rather than go through that. I really feel for you. I definately agree with Butterfly66, walk walk walk and drink plenty of Water. Also hot pack, I walked around constantly with my hot pack. I have to admit mine lasted for about two weeks, it would come and go though, it does get better .. Hang in there and think of all the reasons why you got the sleeve.. I hope that you feel much better soon. Take care Janette xo

I didn't experience the dreaded shoulder pain phenonomon - but I would imagine if Gas-X and walking don't help, it may just be something that you need to ride out like a bad cold. Sucky advice, I know - but I know you will feel better with each day that passes!!!

Congrats and welcome to the Loser's Bench!

Gas-x won't help because the gas isn't in your intestines. Walking and a heating pad on your shoulder, and you will just have to tough it out. Mine is nearly gone, 8 days post-op. I only feel it when I get up in the morning now.

Nothing helped me but the $30 electric heating pad from Walgreens... But of course walking is a must.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
