Sleevers over 300lbs?

  • Popular Post

I notice that must sleeves are in the high 200's but is there anyone who started higher. My weight day off was 362 give or take a pound....my doctor told me the most common procedure for my weight was the bypass but the long term results are very much the same. Im 5'7" but I definitely strated off way bigger than some posts I see...just curious to know I'd I'm alone lol

I was 432. Had surgery on January 30th. Down 100 lbs

  • Started at 496. Day of surgery was 456. One year post op was 200. Now nearly 3 years post op I am 190 to 195. Can the sleeve work for higher weights and BMI? It did for me

I actually haven't been exercising. And what you don't believe my weight loss.

It's been 20 years since I've been under 300 I feel wonderful I've went from a size 56 pants to 40 can't believe only 7 months ago I was where I was and where I'm at now.

I hope to be able to get results like you that is wonderful!

I am 5'8" (although my surgeon's office keeps listing me at 5'6" (annoying) and I was 398 on surgery day 10/8, I'm now down to 300 (98lbs lost and more to go) .....anything is possible. If you work hard, anything is possible.

Like others have said your definitely not alone.

When I met my surgeon last August I was 332. Surgery day I was 300. Today I'm down to 247! I'm 5'8" and starting bmi was almost 51, now down to 38 ;-)

I started at 352 and am currently in the 240's (242 this morning). My ultimate goal is 190, I'm 5'8 if that helps.

Ya' date=' hard to believe but I believe it. Congratulations on your weight loss so far. :)[/quote']

Here are before and after pictures and the after pic was almost a month ago and I've lost 19 more lbs since then

I was 404 and had surgery on January 25th. Now I'm down 75 pounds. Yeah!!!

At the beginning of my journey, I wondered if others were as heavy as me. I really needed to be inspired by other people like me and wondered how long it would be before I'd lose a big chunk of weight. These days, I am losing about 2 pounds a week and a little disappointed its not more.

It took me five years to make up my mind to actually take the steps toward a healthier life. I'm thankful to be losing and happy, I went ahead and had the surgery.

Just take one day at a time and you will be fine. I wish you much success.

75 pounds is a lot of weight congratulations!

You are definetely not alone! My surgeon also suggested bypass as an option for me.

At 5' 4" my highest weight was 380 at time of consultation and I couldn't beleive the scale! Something had to be done...

My sleeve was done on 04/30/13 and I am currently sitting at 347 and have been for over a week

I hit a stall for 2 weeks didnt loss a pound actually gained a couple of pounds. I changed up my diet completely and kicked the weight loss off again try drinking more water and increasing protein intake and ate dif food than I had been eating. You will see a big difference I did.

My longest stall was almost a month long! But I'm steadily losing now.
