4 months out.. & so stressed

Hey guys!

Haven't wrote on this site in awhile!

I'm about 4 months out.. & feeling really stressed out.. I'm at a stall in my weight.. & been stalking for over a month.. I have been eating right & exercising regularly.. But still no change in my weight.. I see many ppl on this site that have the same problem... What can I do to change this? It's so hard..I understand this does happen especially since I already lost about 60 pounds. I need more friends that I can talk to.. So lets be friends please :)

Your welcome.. Slow and steady wins the race. I wouldn't mind losing slowly. Give my skin a chance to bounce back as well!

I don't have the answer unfortunately cause I'm right there with you. I was stalled from

Month four to five but did loose some inches? Hopefully this month the weight starts coming off again.

I am probably going to get flamed but I have some very unorthodox advice. Eat crap for a few days. Candy, cake, pizza or whatever. Don't eat enough to stretch your sleeve but eat as much as you comfortably can. I believe that over time your body gets used to healthy food and just chugs along happy. Shocking it with crap can jump start your weight loss again. Worked for me when I tried it. However, if you have an addicts mind set and feel like it might push you over the edge, I wouldn't try it.

I'm not a big junk food fan.. But this is a good idea.. I might give it a try! Thanks :)

I am also 4 months post op, and the whole Head Hunger is now KICKING my Butt....This is gonna be a day by day journy. Good luck and I find it helps to only weigh once a month.

Yeah, I used to be OBESSED with the scale lol but me & the scale haven't been very good friends lately.. I'm going to stop weighing myself for a few weeks.. Then try weighing myself again! Thanks so much :)

Sadly the head hunger completely sucks! Lol just try to keep busy so you don't thin about food! Thank you! Good luck to you too! Yeah, ill have to just weight myself once a month cause everyday isn't working for me

Hi there, I'll be officially 20 weeks out tomorrow and have lost 67 pounds so far. I've experienced the same stalls as well, but I've done something that almost always gets me to the right track. Whenever I reach a stall, yet still maintaining my healthy eating habits and exercising daily (i do crossfit twice per week and cardio 4 times per week) I find that my body is retaining water. So I take a water pill maybe once per week. Sure enough, I pee like crazy for about 4 hours in that day, rehydrate during the day, and by the time i step on the scale the next morning, I'm about 4 pounds down, which is what i should've expected during that week anyway. It weighs out for me... also during my cycle time, my body retains soooo much water, so i actually let my cycle completely go through then the day after my last day i have a water pill just to release all that water. Look hunny, truth be told, as long as the scale isn't moving up and your staying active, your alright! :D hope this helps a bit! Also, i definitely notice, when i'm retaining water and have a water pill, inches go as well.

I also agree with this. If this Water pill doesnt work for me, i carb up then go do some cardio like crazy, and man! my body is like "what have you done to me" lol

Yes, that's very true!!

Do try upping you calories and carbs but do it with healthier ones, your body may be adjusting to your constant calories. And up your Water, people say this helps.

It's hard not to stress about it but dang! Those scales are the root of all evil!

It will come off, it has no choice, if nothing else, I am learning that patience is key. Something I have never excelled in.

Hang in there sweetie. :)
