June surgery dates

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

I haven't started prepping for the pre diet per se. I have thought about it and what I need to buy and what not. In horrible fat girl fashion' date=' I have been eating things from my pre surgery bucket list AKA crap I plan to stay away from after the sleeve. :/[/quote']

LOL....I have done the same thing...saying good bye...in a close up and personal way, lol!!

I'm 5 days into my pre-op and everyone is right.... It got easy and I'm not starved!! Everyone just stick it out and u can do it!!! My date is coming up fast.. 3rd June. So excited now

June 7th is my surgery date, in Houston, TX @ St. Joseph's Medical Center. I am sooo beyond ready for this. Ready for a new healthier life, thank God for the insurance approval! That was the scariest part of this whole journey so far, waiting for approval!!!!!!

On my last step before submission to insurance- June 6th I have a meeting with a nurse to go over my endoscopy and bloodwork results, go over a week of my recent meal history and then it's time to wait! I have United Healthcare and per my surgeons office it takes them between 1-2 weeks for an answer. Schedule wise I really need the surgery in June, so I'm going to start my surgeon's required 2 week low carb (20 max per day) high protein diet by myself when I have that last appointment so I'll be ready for surgery very soon after I get the ok- otherwise I might bleed into early July. It's starting to feel real!

I'm June 5th to

I'm scheduled for June 5th as well :)

June 11th and it can't come quick enough.

Hello and congrats on the June date. My date is June 4 and I'm on day 4 of the liquid diet. I've already lost 4.5 lbs and it isn't so bad. Although my son's graduation party is Sunday, so that might be a big challenge!

I started the liver reduction diet on January 11 and so far I'm down 45 lbs. I don't have to start full liquids until 2 days out.
