Dreamfields Pasta?

Has anyone tried this brand of pasta? It is supposedly 'lower carb' with only 13g digestible carbs and has a low glycemic index. I just want to know about the taste. Does it taste regular???

yes, it has what they call protected carbs. It only has 5g of digestible carbs per serving. It says it has 41g total carbs -5g Fiber -31g protected carbs =5g digestible carbs

Looks like we can get the black bean pasta at whole foods. I don't do much at whole foods but will go for specific things.

  • I love the black bean pasta. The protein content is great. They're black noddles, a dark grey when cooked, but as a pasta lover, I almost danced in the store when I saw them

What brand is the black bean pasta at wholefoods? I may have to venture to the one right down the road from me:)

I have used Dreamfields for at least 3 years now. My diabetic mother in law also uses it. She test her blood sugar after eating (as she always does) and she does NOT have a spike in blood sugar like when she eats regular Pasta.

I used to test with Keto strips and would eat the Dreamfields on my low carb diet. I never went out of ketosis from the Dreamfields.

So, my conclusion is it may not work for everybody but it works for my mother in law and for me. Your mileage may vary...

I'm going to try it... I'm trying to keep my carbs as low as possible but I am a pasta junkie! I'm praying it works for me...

I hear you! Bread, Pasta, sweets. I KNOW that's why I gained weight and I KNOW that's why my slow losing is even slower now. It's time for a arb detox!

As soon as we get rid of some the stuff in this house. I'm cheap! :3
