Are we really starting it tomorrow? Thought we start it on this Monday coming up since it'll be 2 weeks before surgery?

So just seen your post bahaha still figuring this thing out

Is your guys pre op diet for two weeks then night before clear liquids??

For me it has not been that bad I can drink 3 protein shakes sugar free pudding cream of chicken soup salad.... At first it sucked but now I don't even get hungry... But every now and again I wanna bit of some good food :)

I have 2 weeks low carb, (which I'm currently on week 2 and FAILING miserably...whimper) and then 1 week full fluids, one week clear fluids. Is this the same as you?

For two weeks I do protein shakes cream of chicken pudding salad and oatmeal

The night before surgery which will be the 29th I go to clear liquids only

I do 2 weeks of Optifast Pre surg. 4- 8 oz shakes, i soup and one bar. Also allowed 3 sf Jello and 3 sf Popsicles per day.

I'm not hungry on it but of course I want real food. Just not as bad as I want an uncomplicated surgery--so I am sticking to it.

Yea I want to be prepared my surgery Is April 30th I have stuck to mine I do want real food but it passes free I drink a shake or eat some soup :)

I get three-four shakes a day and a lean cuisine-type meal, trying to keep total calorie count below 870. It's not so bad (but so glad I just have 4 more days!)

Just beware: liquid in = liquid out ????

Anyone doing New Direction for their preop diet? My surgeon doesn't give us a choice.
