I ate Easter Dinner

  • Popular Post

And it went down so well! Ham 3oz, 3 green beans and about 1tsp of mashed potatoes. Strange how I'm satisfied with that small amount. First "real meal" I've had since surgery. Sleeved 2/27.

Easter at the in-laws who own a butcher shop. Hence' date=' lots of Protein options!! I had maybe 2oz of smoked prork ribs, 4 deviled egg halves (two at dinner and 2 about 2 hours later) about a teaspoon of baked Beans and a teaspoon of mac & cheese. I weakened at the Easter egg hunt. I had about 5 pieces of chocolate. I've never lost my sweet tooth as many posters have said. I sure wish I had. That's probably why I have been in a stall. Too much junk!!! As I said on another thread, I am vowing to no sugar or anything white at least for the rest of the week.[/quote']

Try going 3 weeks without sweets. This should be enough time to wean off them. Protein will also help eliminate the desire for sweets. Some posters have also said artificial sweeteners trigger a desire for sweets, but I have not found this to be the case. However, I have found small amounts of sugar (2 g) that is in my Protein Bar sometimes makes me want to have more. Waiting 20 min after eating my protein bar will usually find my desire for more to be gone. Wish you continual success.

I am almost a year and a half out. I waited a good month before eating solid food. I am maintaining and staying on track but it is very hard and challenging. Evolving..... it was a good month before I began eating solid foods and even at that it was mushies and soft stuff.

I'm getting hungry !!!!!!!
