I can start on pureed next week. I hope that happens for me. I'm 9 days out, still on liquids and today I am starving. I feel like I could eat anything although I won't for fear of blowing out my sleeve at this point.

Have u tried a creamy Soup

Have u tried a creamy soup

Hi Nicole, yes I had some cream of chicken soup. I really didn't like so I only had a few ounces. I know this is head hunger and I'm missing eating. Between my pre-op diet and post op stages I've been on a liquid diet for almost a month. Today at work they brought in pizza for everyone. I went for a walk hoping I could avoid being around it. But, it was all still there when I got back. I think that's when it started.

I'm feeling better now and appreciate that in just over 3 1/2 weeks over lost over 30 lbs. I'm just whining. How you doin?

What are bullet proteins?

Hi I start purée Monday and am so ready I was sleeved on 3/18.. Am never hungry just kinda bored.. I added some lemon juice to low fat cream if chicken and it almost tasted like Hollinday * sauce so yummy.. I have lost a total of 17 lbs..

Thats what we call them here but its the tube shaped liquid protein. You can get the at walmart/costo and local vitamin shops. They are super sweet and very syrupie <---- my new word I just made up :)

Go easy with the mirilax. I did about half of the recommended dose and the next day......BOOM. I went 5x's. I know TMI but I figured better share my story :)

Thank you for sharing. Seriously! I was sleeved 3/26 and no BM :(. I'm wondering how long it took everyone else

Hi, I was sleeved March 22nd. I am feeling pretty good. Seems like each morning i truly feel stronger and can tolerate everything i eat or drink better. One thing i am having a very hard time with is the chewable vitamins. They are so sickening sweet that it makes me almost gag. Never thought i would say something was too sweet, but i can see how my taste buds have changed. Still having a hard time getting in all the water. Seems to want to get a bit stuck going down. Looking forward to the scale for the first time. I have started walking. Thank you Spring! This week i will be going to the gym at the medical center to see what i can begin doing. For me, adding daily exercize really made weight loss successful. Watching my family enjoy regular food right now is also hard for me. Love hearing everyone's stories!

Those bullet proteins are the wrong type of protein for us. Read the list of ingredients and you will see. I think they say whey on the label but the list of ingredients it's not the main source. I have been reading threads about such.

These were recommended by my NUT to me but we all know they all say something different at each WL center.

So this morning with my 2 lightly-scrambled eggs, I put a tiny bit of buffalo wing sauce on the plate and just barelt touched my for tines to it before picking up some eggs. After 4+ weeks of protein shakes, having a little flavor/a little spice feels so good. My stomach didn't seem to mind either. Do you think that it's alright (11d post-op)?
