Scared outta my wits
I was totally in your shoes 4 weeks ago. You will be just fine, I promise. I had a sit down with my doc and asked all my questions and had a good "im terrified" cry. He just reassured me I was in good hands. The morning of surgery I was so cool. I only got nervous for a minute and thats when I hugged my husband and son right before I went in. For me the worst part was the gas and up to about day 4 after surgery. Like I said im a month po now and feel just like my old self.....just a little lighter. I hope this helps ease things and I wish you the very best.! L

Relationship problems or doubts?
Mines perfect but I can say others are not so lucky. My husband and I had many many many long talks about what I need and what he needs. We talked about other guys paying more attention to me and the jealousy aspect. You really have to be open and talk about the hard stuff and some stuff that may seem silly. I wish you the very best.

On mushies - slight addiction to ice tea...
Not agruing, I understand what you are saying and I was not trying to scold you. I apologize if it was interpretated that way. My point was only that new patients have to be very careful with sugar. I mean thats what got most of us here in the first place in my opinion. I always appreciate honest feedback but this is the only place some people get support so we have to inform positively and honestly so we can all succeed.

On mushies - slight addiction to ice tea...
As much as I try to support everyone on here....all I can say is you are setting yourself up for failure if you think this is ok. I am saying this only if you have not had surgery yet or if you are just minimal weeks out. I can see someone 1plus years po doing this but newbies need to know this is not ok.

Water hurts
Try different temperatures that helped me. Also I added just a little unsweet caffine free tea. Helped me too.

Blended berries?
I just made a protein smoothie if you will. It was pure protein shake vanilla with a little sugar free orange jello powder. Added a little ice and tada I just had an orange dreamcicle.

I HAVE A DATE!
I still have craving but only in the last few days. Right after surgery I didn't want anything. The only time for me that its really bad is if I smell food. You and I both will fight many demons but I look at the long term.
