I haven't measured my fiber intake, but I do eat a lot of re-fried beans and I add psyllium (from Walmart) to my food concoctions. I also eat cauliflower (instead of mashed potatoes) that's been run through the food processor. A 1 lb bag only has about 100 calories, add a little brown gravy and I think it tastes better than mashed potatoes

Kellogs All Bran Cereal is a good source of fiber. I eat with Pure Silk almond milk unsweetened. 1gram of carb in that milk and if you minus the fiber from the carbs in the cereal its only 13 carbs. Worth it to me to get fiber.

I looked Asian pear up in myfinesspal and depending on size of course I got 1-6 fiber per pair. I just input: Asian pear

Just letting you know

I pulled out the info the nutritionist gave me and it says according to USDA an Asian pear is 10 g. Not sure about the size variance. Prunes and lentils are other good ideas.

Thank you. Okay I didn't look there lol. I was thinking how awesome it was and input it in myfitnesspal. Its great that it has any amount.

Thank you all. Keep the info coming. I only had 7 today.

Yes it has a few carbs, but it has no sugar so it won't trigger cravings. Even the glycemic index diet gurus say this is the one processed carb worth eating for the fiber content.

Are you eating fiber one cereal now instead of chia seeds? I am thinking about getting back into fiber one cereal because it was a favorite pre sleeve.

No I still use the chia seeds but I've cut back on my Protein shakes....thereby cutting back on the chia. I honestly think the fiber one works better anyway.

I'm pretty clogged lol. Ummmm I don't like it. I was told fiber can bloat you thoughts? Ladies and gents?

Well, I do have to recommend chia seeds as a natural digestion aid for ongoing preventative support. However, if you are severely clogged, I would start out with something stronger and more immediate like Milk of Magnesium, ducolax or smooth move tea. Chia seeds are good as a long term day to day "unclogger" and helps you stay clear with daily BM events, most of the time more then 1. An occasional use of miralax is also helpful, especially in combination with chia seeds.
