Liquid diet issues

Did anyone suffer with really bad diarrhea with the liquid diet? Yesterday was my 1st day on it and today my stomach is really sick! How am I going to last 6 more days when I can't even leave the bathroom?!

I think I figured out the issue. I am lactose intolerant and I normally take the Isopure protein, but I was struggling with hunger yesterday so I was looking for something with more "substance" and I bought some Muscle Milk which clearly states "Contains NO MILK" in big bold letters on the bottle. I drank one before bad last night blended with some ice. Today I was looking at the ingredients and it has milk protein in it and other ingredients derived from milk!! Why would a product that advertises "Contains NO MILK" actually have milk in it?! I should have read the label, but when something is advertised as not containing milk I tend to believe it! I think that with the combination of my body being a little in shock has caused horrendous diarrhea! The only thing I can compare it to is when I drank the magnesium citrate the day before I had my colonoscopy done-and of course I'm at work!!!! :(

I can't drink muscle mike it makes me stick and yes it take me forever to shop I'm reading labels all the time..That will do it magnesium citrate I had diarrhea for the 1st 3-4 days of my per op I'm better now 10 days now but if I eat to fast boy o boy I pay for it.I all so had diarrhea about 3-4 days of post op it's all the liquids and the change in your diet hang in there per op is the hardest part and the 3-4 days of post op but every day gets better and better Good Luck with your life!!

It's my fault for not reading the label, but when something says "Contains NO MILK" then I tend to think it doesn't contain milk! Lesson learned! :(

The Optifast has me running to the bathroom a few times a day even 4 days post-op i am still going with diarrhea

No it's a trick to get your to buy more I find out the hard way also in sugar free and no sugar add it that's why I read everything no fun getting sick ...

It will get better try protein that is water base I couldn't do any mike right away about day 5-6 you will feel a lot better hang in there..
