What?? Unfollow my thread?? How dare you!! Lolol

Don't worry - I'll join back in when it goes wildly off-topic! ;)

Early on I had a bite of a donut. Now' date=' if I want a bite of a donut, I eat it. I've had Cookies and cake, I shared a Reeses PB Easter egg with my husband, I've eaten french fries (froed potato ANYTHING is my cryptonite since the sleeve)!! I am not a 'perfect' sleever, I know I could lose more and faster if I was stricter with what I eat, but I didn't do this surgery to live with a sense of deprivation and tons of cannots. I did this surgery to control the amount of food I consume. Granted, i eat TONS healthier now than I did before, I think a lot before I eat something 'bad', but I still ahven't had a soda, I've rolled about 2 drops around in my mouth since the surgery, but just the carbonation in my mouth doesn't feel good. I think that not depriving myself has been my key to success so far. I don't 'eat bad' everyday, or even every week, but if I want a Dorito, I'm doing more than licking that powder off![/quote']

Thank you !!!!!!

I had a Big Mac four days out.....

WHAT?? Don't judge!

Lol

eh i'm still supposed to be on full liquids for 2 more weeks' date=' been on liquids for a total of 6 so far.... I'm currently eating blended potato soup that has not been strained...so that's 2 strikes. should have just been the cream of the potato and not the potato and I didn't strain it. It's not all that lumpy and i chew the crap out of the lumps BECAUSE I CAN...i've missed chewing, give me a break.

oh and no no's....yeah I had a hershey's chocolate bar on 2 separate occasions...Yes the whole bar and while it took me a little to eat it, I suffered no real difficulties...I'm not even sure I'm remorseful. This diet has been hell, I see a bunch of people crab about the week long preop, I'd just like to say to them, "that's just the warm up!" but then I think or right, it's really just my dr that has us do 8 solid weeks of liquid diet post op. I have a bone to pick w/ my nut who had the balls to say to me that she gets no complaints on the liquid diet stage about the 8 weeks they keep us on it...[/quote']

8WEEK liquid diet????? I would die! And u right that 2 week preop diet is just a warm up smh I'm 8 days post op and I'm STRUGGLING! Puréed next week! Thank You Jesus

Doesn't chocolate count for the liquid diet, as long as you let it melt before you swallow it?

I feel ripped off. The only thing I have ate that wasn't on plan was a yogurt covered pretzel (little bitty) and a waffle fry. I then went into a 3 week stall. So screw all of you that are cheating and losing weight! ;)

It's wayyyy to early to be getting screwed ... Counting down them damn days !! Hahahahah

I have not really cheated. I was sleeved 4/4/13. I am so sick of the liquid diet hopefully my dr will give ok to go to purée diet tomorrow. If I get the ok I'm going to purée the hell out of corned beef and cabbage one of my favs and that I only get once a year :) also going to purée the hell out of my traditional polish dinner at Easter and polka the night away!!! The thing that gets me is my family doesn't understand that yes I can have whatever I want as long as I follow some rules and listen to my sleeve.

You mean 3/4? How long is your liquid diet? Mine was a total of 3 weeks. My doctor wouldn't lift it for anyone, it said so in her packet so I didn't even ask. I wish you better luck though.

This was by far one of the best threads yet...lmao!!! So I thought I was going to hell because my surgeon made me eat saltines 2 days out..I couldn't keep liquid down..but I thought Really!!?? You are sabotaging my loss in the hospital.. lol..(wish I had a saltine now) :)

Yes I meant 3/4 lol! They had me on a liquid diet 2 weeks prior to surgery to reduce the liver (so they said). I see the dr tomorrow so I will ask what more I could do. I did expect more after getting the sleeve. But.... I will continue on. I will reach my goal! Come hell or high Water :)
