Post op march sleevers

  • Popular Post

I got sleeved on the 5th and it wasnt that painful the first few days. after i came home i started to feel the pain, specially the gas pains. Swallowing is a totally new experience. If i take a sip thats to big the pain i get in my chest from pain is so bad.

I cant wait for it to get better. Its not that i regret it, oh no, it just that its like learning to eat all over again. I have started to write down none scale victories. I want to exercise again, i want to play sports again, and most of all play with my kids without feeling tired

Costco has Premier Protein drinks also, that's where I got mine.

prettybird & Alberta- walking is the best but damn I hated doing it! I'm also craving food- I know it's just my head but I'd seriously consider compromising my ethics for a grilled cheese! LOL! I've got 14 days of full liquids then mushy foods- it'll be a while before I get solid stuff!

Sleeved on the 8th. Came home yesterday evening. GI system is fully awake tonight, good burping helping with gas pains, which are not too bad. Soreness is better, trying to move frequently. Anxious to see how week goes! Good luck everyone!

I hate this down feeling. Like zero energy. I have problem with protein, so ive only gotten down an atkins shake which only 15g protein 1 sugar 160 calories. A body dont run good in that lil bit of calories. I want some energy! Tomorrow im going to buy an isopure juice and a protein bullet i need something.

Uhh i feel the same way! I just hate this zombie state i am in. My brain feels so slow & my body even slower. So over liquids & ready to eat something of substance to get my energy back! Time seems to going by slower now after surgery than it was before! Blah!

Oh yeah. I'm wiped out when I least expect it.

And YES! OMG the fast food commercials! The new pizza Hut sliders! Are you kidding me? They play that darn thing all the time.

One more thing- my heating pad has helped with the gas pain too! It's my new BFF!

Yes gel! I just went through what I can only describe as a "hot flash". I got all hot and woozy and felt like everything for darker. I immediately got in my recliner in front of a fan but **** now I'm too exhausted to even text. My shoulders hurt. Hubby just brought me a Popsicle.

Hi everyone,

I'm an April sleever but worried about doing stairs when I get home. We have a lot of them so I thought I'd ask, are you guys able to get up and down stairs ok? Stairs were TOUGH after my c section. I know this is totally different though. I wish you all the best, quick healing, excellent results and minimum pain!!

wow fortunatly i haven't had any "hot flashes" but i have been craving scrambled eggs with cheese and buttered toast all day. I want that soo badly!!
