Pain after I eat?

I am almost 5 weeks post op! t The last few days when I eat no matter what it is my left side feels a lot of pressure and darting pain. I lay down and it helps relieve it some. Not sure what it is going on! Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like gas. Not an expert or nor do I claim to be one but it sounds like gas. Have you tried Gas X?

You probably already know this but I would call your surgeon just to be safe.

I am 5 weeks post-op as well and I was having the same issue. My doctor believed I was having stomach spasms so he put me on Reglan and that has really helped.
