The old evening-before-surgery freakout.....

I'm sure that it is pretty common....but I've been so enthusiastically pursuing this surgery for the better part of a year, and I'm scheduled for tomorrow. Tonight, I am geeking out, hoping and praying that I am doing the right thing. I am one of those people who have things happen to them that don't normally happen to the majority. :)

It doesn't help that I'm the last surgery of the day, and I don't have to go into the hospital until 2.......please keep me in your thoughts?

Thanks so much,

Deb

Sure thing Deb! When you hear those words "You're all done" - I promise, you won't stop smiling (and it won't be from all the drugs!)

Thanks, Kirk! Hey, how are you feeling?

You got it! you are going to be fine it is your time to do this. We all freak out before hand, I almost walked out of the prep room. All will be well. See you on the other side.

Will be praying for you! You will do great

You've got this. Just think how many people wish they could take your place. It's a blessing. I'll be praying.

Thanks, Kirk! Hey, how are you feeling?

I'm great! I have been extremely fortunate to have had a very smooth recovery - I think a lot of it has to do with being uber compliant and really absorbing all of the information that my surgeon and nutritionist have provided to me both pre/post op.

I have a YouTube channel where you can follow my journey - search VSG KIRK

I haven't been THIS happy in a very very long time.

:)

I have my consult tomorrow and I'm freaking out! I can't imagine how I would feel the night before doing it! Best of luck to you!!

Prayers your way .

Let us know how you're doing tomorrow night. Sending prayers your way.

You're gonna be great! Try to relax and concentrate on being EXCITED. I'm serious....think about as the beginning of a new wonderful life... I looked it at as my own private Dana's Independence Day! Freedom to be the true me after 40 years!

Good Luck!! So excited for you!!

~Dana

Prayers on your way...hoping you have speedy recovery. I will be joining you all next week ...also been nervous and not sleeping.
