  • Ok everyone, I had my surgery this morning at 11:30 and I feel pretty good right now. There is a little bit of tenderness when I move but other than that no real pain. I think my gallbladder surgery

March 8th!!!!!!!!!!

To All my 3/4 sleeves: we have six more days to go! I had a little melt down earlier. I was wondering what I was going to do without food but I realized that I won't be missing anything that I haven't already tasted before. I'm excited and scared. I just want these next 6 days to fly by

Scheduled for march 18. Started liquids today. Worst part of this imo lol.

@ shakur14,I'm having a melt down,I even thought about chicking out,now the time is here and scared to pieces....I'm praying on it

@Leo18 I have been thinking the same thing but we have invested to much time to give up. All those pre op appointments and test we had to do....uggggg 3/4 please hurry lol

I am going for my 2nd visit with my surgeon in the morning. I have been on a liver detox diet for almost 9 days now. I see that some of you are already on liquid shakes, I am wondering why I was not put on shakes too. Maybe he will starting tomorrow since my surgery is March 11th. I had to call my family doctor up today, my surgeon's office called to tell me they did not send in all my pre-op test results and a medical clearance letter was not received either. What is really frustrating, I called my family doctor last Wednesday and told them all paperwork and test results needed to be faxed to my surgeon by Last Friday and apparently that did not happen. If my surgeon does not have it all by tomorrow I might have to have my surgery date changed until there is follow thru from my regular doctor. I am so mad right now, it just goes to show you that you need to be pro-active and make double sure there is follow thru from your regular doctor. I will let you know how my visit turns out. It has been a long road to just get here. Fingers crossed!!!

I saved since September and by march I will be ready to go with dr. Kelly!

I'm scheduled for March 20th!

Never been so excited for surgery before

I'm a march sleever... Can't say I'm excited but I want it over lol

@shakur154,you know what your rite,I've came to far to give up now but I'm so ready for it to come and go.....Hurry March 4...

March 8th is my day. This Pre -op diet had been a struggle but I'm motivated and excited about my new health life ahead !!

Hi I'm having my sleeve 8th March in Australia. Looking forward to it and like all if you I'm a bit scared. I have 48 kg to loose so I'm hoping doing the pre op the weight is coming off. I have no scales at home which is a good thing. Getting weighed on Thursday at the Surgeon appointment. ????

AHHH! I am having surgery next week. NEXT WEEK! I am going to have to admit I am a little on edge. I am stressed out due to the fact my husband has been laid off from work the past few months so it was a perfect opportunity to have the surgery so he could be home to help me with our kids and he just got called back and started today. I am having surgery on wed so he is taking wed, thurs, fri off along with the weekend. I am praying I will be up to taking my daughter to school monday and take care of my 2 year old all day. It's going to be rough!

Presher, I know how you feel. I have an 8 yr old, 2 year old, and 10 month old twins! I am a SAHM and I will have SOME help, but the reality is there wont be someone here 24 hours a day for the whole healing period. We gotta do what we gotta do! When you have babies, you don't have the option to rest and not pick up things etc. Kinda HAS to be done lol
