Thanks for the well wishes. I am at the hospital. Heart is racing. Nervous excitement. Like right before I gave birth

At the hospital mentally holding hands with my sleeve sisters (or brothers). Didn't sleep and want a nap.

I'm at home now was sleeved on the 25th not much pain but its hard to drink anything and the liquid medicine is so nasty

About to leave my house and surprisingly not freaking out!!!! I'm tired as hell considering I haven't eaten since yesterday morning but I'm still amped!!! Want to start the road to healthy life!!!!

Yes' date=' I just have pain where the air pocket is.[/quote']

2 weeks post op...pretty bad sharp cramp like pain on side where drain was, the stomach side. Started a few days ago & no relief yet...i walk & take gasx strips. Hurts when I take deep breath or yawn so I dont or try not to. Ugh.

At hospital here in France. Surgery is tomorrow 2:00 Paris time. Good luck and prayers for all my other 28 th sleevers and Marchies!!

Just found out that I don't have to be at the hospital until 11:30....I was kinda hoping for an early appointment. It's all good though....all kinds if emotions but excited nonetheless!!! Prayers to all of u going today and tomorrow!!!!!

Hey everyone! I am now 15 days post op. Everything is going great with me! Im still not getting in all the protein but that's my new goal for this week! Im doing "Ok" getting in water. Not quite as much as I need but close. Starting working out yesterday (brisk uphill walk, was sweating bad and couldn't breathe after quarter of a mile, so I stopped but I know each day will get easier and I will be able to go further in a shorter time). I've lost 16 pounds as of yesterday, that's more than a pound a day :) I hope since im losing kind of slowly I wont hit that 3 week stall this week, esp since im going to up my protein and my workouts.

A note to sleeves who haven't found out yet...when they say eat slow they mean eat SLOOOOW. I had some chicken for lunch, half a grilled finger. It went down fine w no probs. I decided to eat some more for supper but evidently I ate too fast. Had TERRIBLE pains in my chest and about 15 mins later threw up some white froth. Known as "frothing" or "sliming". It was gross and painful. So please, eat slower than slow and it can be avoided.

You are able to eat food food already at 15 days po? Wow...i still have until Sunday on full liquids then start pureed for a few weeks then soft. I know all of our post op instructions are different but wow. Becareful! I'm so afraid of popping a staple/stitch & ending up in the hospital that when its finally time to eat normal again I may not. Congrats on ur great loss so far!

See you on the other side!!!! God bless!!!!

Yeah I can eat the "soft" diet now which includes fish, chicken, eggs, and pasta. But im eating VERY small amounts VERY slowly. I have, however, decided to try to eat mostly soups and yogurt for a little while longer. I haven't had any pains or anything though other than that one time w the chicken from eating it too fast.
