  18. So, I met with the surgeon on yesterday and got my date for March 28th. However, before I got the date my family convinced me on waiting till after our family cruise where there will be 30 of us surrounded by food and drinks. So on my mind, I had already decided that if the date was going to be close to us going, which is May 10, that I would wait till after. Well low and behold when I got that date, which was a cancellation, I was estactic. He assured me that I would just be transitioning to solid foods. I know that if I was going to be successful , I needed to know how to manage my new tummy and Mind to. Be able to function in any environment. So after told my family they freaked....leading me to this thread. For all of you who have been sleeved already, what are the common complications after surgery and how long of a range does the complications last? My family is supportive of the Eating part, they are just concerned of potential complications while cruising in Bermuda? I would love to hear folks thoughts?
