I've lost 9.1 pounds in a week, I feel like im starving myself on these full liquids

Bebaeg, may it be a smooth journey. Best of luck!

I was sleeved on the 19th and so far have lost 1lb. I have no appetite and have to work hard to drink a little bit of anything. I'm ok with one pound and will not be stressing over how much I lose in what amount of time because it's a given....IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.. i am a bit disappointed in my intake....but my family and friends are working with me to increase my fluids and I know I risk dehydration and a hospital stay if I don't stay on top of my A game. So thanks for all the feedback and support ~BariatricBeauties~

Sip sip sip! I have been getting my fluids in pretty good. About 30ccs every twenty minutes. I start my protein drinks again tomorrow. Two days post op. Feeling pretty good just tired and sore.

Birdie0518. I still have my jp drain in go back Monday to have it removed.

I feel you.

Today is day 12 of the liquids for me.

I just want to reach put and eat a piece of pizza, or anything! I don't feel like I'm starving, but man. I want some real food! I did have some hello earlier, but that did not help much. Maybe it's time for another sugar free popsicle.

I was sleeved on 14 th started purée today!!!! I ate 1/4 of scramblers egg and meal 2 was chili w sc n cheese blended. About 3tbs I was full but man it was good:)

30 cc (1 ounce) every 20 mins is perfect. That's what my surgeon told me to shoot for.

To get in the fluids you really have to begin first thing in the AM and sip all day long.

Good that makes me feel good! Some seem to think that was too much so soon.

Ok weight loss count, how much weight have you lost since surgery? I've lost 5 pounds. Let's see how much weight our march sleeves have lost so far.

I weighed in two days ago at one week post op and I was at ZERO pounds lost. I'll weigh in again at my two week date. I'm not worried about it though. I'm just following my post op diet.. the weight will come off when it's ready.

I'm exactly 2 weeks post op. I lost 9 lbs on the 1 week pre op diet, then 9 days post op I was down a total of 25 lbs, meaning 16 lbs lost in the 9 days post op. I didn't weigh myself for 5 days, and weighed in tonight, and I actually gained 2 lbs in those 5 days! I'm following the nutrition recommendations to the letter, so I'm not sure what that's about. Kind of disheartening. It has been a lot of work to comply with everything, and I expected to see better results.

BigDaddyJoe how is your fluid intake? Also watch the sodium intake, you will hold on to water. I am not getting all of my fluids in, however I am restricting my sodium to the bare minimum, I am averaging a pound 1/2 lb to 1lb a day.
