I had my GB out in the late 90s and my sleeve 9/26/12. The sleeve hurt so much more for me. I was so much younger when I had my GB out lol. Sent from my iPhone using VST

I have heard that the pain and recovery, as well as the mortality rate (which is VERY low!) are very much comparable to gallbladder surgery. I'd have this again over labor pain ANYTIME!

So I'm pre- op and just curious as to what the pain of the surgery is comparable to. I've never had a child so that wouldn't relate to me. I did have my gall bladder removed about 12 years or so ago laparoscopic. Can anyone say if its similar or worse? Thanks!
