Wow, the difference is awesome! Keep up the good work. I see you were sleeved by Dr. Rantis, I was sleeved by Dr. Guske (on 12/5) at the same office.

nice! how did you like dr guske? i loved dr rantis. i saw guske in the hospital. i didnt like that we never saw them after surgery. only the PA's. but oh well. something i never thought to ask when i originally saw the dr's. how are you feeling?

I LOVE Dr. Guske. Every time I was feeling anxious or scared, he was so comforting and I immediately felt better. Dr. Guske visited me in the hospital and I had been having trouble getting fluids in and started getting a little down about it but he came in and told me everything I was feeling was normal and to try warm liquids instead. It worked, I tried warm liquids and was able to get my fluids in. His bedside manner is awesome, I felt immediately better after seeing him. My first postop appointment I did see a PA but my next appointment is with Dr. Guske.

I feel wonderful, great, fantastic. I love my sleeve! Im 4 weeks post op in 2 days and on most regular foods now. Im just addicted to fish currently. Its so high in Protein and delicious. i dont like wasting my sleeve space for minimal protein. i drink more liquids (usually decaf tea) than I did prior to being sleeved. Discovered Fiber gummies because I had some constipation issues a couple of times but not since taking the fiber gummies.

yeah, he came in to see me after i failed my lead test. i think the nurses knew i was freaked out and he came in to calm my nerves. said that some people swell worse than others. i was one of those others and stayed in for 4 days until swelling went down.

glad you are dong great!

Whoa sorry to hear you failed your leak test :( 4 days sure seems like forever. I was in for 2 1/2 days and didnt think I could do one more overnight. Went in on Wednesday first thing and released Friday night.

It's okay. I had so much swelling in my sleeve that the contrast would not leave my esophagus. Had my surgery on a Monday left there Thursday night about 6pm. All seems ok now though ;-)

You look fantastic! What a big difference. Woot! Woot! Congrats!
