Weight Gain For Tom

Recommended Posts

I know this might be a stupid question but I never paid attention to it when I was heavier but is it normal to gain 3+ lbs during that time of the month? I got on my scale this morning and I was shocked to see the gain and I've been doing everything right.

Yep. I normally fluctuate about 1-1.5kg just before, then go back down after. It's the only time I ever gain.

My record is 7 pounds! I gain it the week before and then lose it the day before or the first day. My sister is the same but she doesn't lose hers until the end of her period.

I'm hoping that when I'm smaller my pre period weight gain will be less too!

Before wls, I would gain up to 5 or 6 pounds but now I lose at least 1 pound if I don't stay the same. I have been recording this since the month after my surgery because I thought it was strange especially since I ALWAYS gained before. I'm not complaining but it's weird to me.

Before surgery I would gain about 5 pounds the week before my period. Now that I've had surgery I stay the same and start losing weight again the day my period starts. I seem to plateau after ovulation and stay the same weight until I get my period.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
