  • When i finally made my mind up to have the surgery it took me a year to save the money. So I guess you can say a year. You?

  • My nervousness is overtaking my excitement. So annoying.

  • I totally agree. I did alright today not hungry at all but had to concentrate in not getting something to eat. Do you have to do the carnation instant breakfast? My surgeon is Brandon Varnell at Owas

Well, I didn't hear about the sleeve until this spring. I was dead set on it and my husband told me that he might lose his job and didnt think it was wise to do it at that time. Sooo. Since then. I've been off the boards for a while because I was discouraged but I'm back now because it looks like I'll be able to use our tax return in feb/march.

I'm SO excited!! So so so. I've never wanted something more.

It is an emotional roller coaster. The closer it gets the more I question. I know in the long run its the right thing for me.

I'm being sleeved the day after tomorrow ( the day before Thanksgiving) and boy can I relate to the roller coaster. I started out between 255 and 260, woke up today to 194.9, so I'm wondering why I need surgery? That said, I'm thinking long term. I've lost before only to put it all back on again.

Exactly. Why are you having surgery? You seems to be losing! The issue is keeping it off and even with the surgery it takes lots of work.
