After six quick months, I will finally be sleeved tomorrow. I joined this site in May right after my PCP put my referral through. I jumped through all of Kaiser's hoops and met some amazing people along the way.

This site and the posters here have been invaluable to me during these six months, and will continue to be as I finally become a post-op patient. The advice, kind words, and support I have experienced here have been amazing.

I can't wait to come back from the hospital on Tuesday and write to you all as someone who has been sleeved.

Good luck, Allison! I was sleeved on Friday and am having a pretty good recovery. Went in at 10 a.m. on Friday, home by 3 on Sat. I wish you a quick recovery, and as good of nurses as I had during your stay in the hospital.

Wow you went home quick. Tomorrow's my date as well, I've been preparing all day.
