Pre-op diet is much harder then post-op, at least for me. Pre-op you can still eat you are just relying on will power, post-op you cant eat. Much easier post-op. Hang in there and do your best!

Congrats on the weight loss!

I never thought I would say this but Thank God I am sick starting my pre-op diet! I can't smell anything and haven't noticed much that I have been on liquids since yesterday. I hope it stays like this!!! Good luck y'all!

keep going, it does get easier when the hunger subsides and it will be worth it, you can do this. x

I've been complaining since Halloween when I started mine and yesterday I told my mom that I would be so happy when surgery is over and that I bet she would be happy too. She said, "you're still going to want those foods" and I told her that the wanting would eventually go away, but at least I would be full. I miss that miserable full feeling more than the actual food. Quite the realization coming from a self-proclaimed "foodie"!!!

I have been dreaming of food! I have stayed strong so far. Its day 3 and I wish I could fast forward to the 21st!!!

Day 12 of liquids for me. Hasn't been bad. Down 22 pounds. Come on Monday morning

Dang! 22 pounds is awesome! I'm down 15 and thinking the same thing over and over...COME ON MONDAY MORNING!!! Good luck!!!

On my first of 13 days of all liquid diet. Yay for me! Lol. I am really not excited about not being able to eat on thanksgiving... The ultimate test of willpower. Lol :). Yall keep it up... Those losses are great! Hope I lose a good 15 before the 23rd.

Hang in there you guys with the pre-op diet - it gets soo much better, and easier after your sleeve.

It's surprising what you don't want. I must admit that a caramel with milk chocolate was akin to a god in my previous life. Today...I have zero desire for anything that sweet! Bizarre, but nice LOL

I just tried mixing my plain fat free Greek yogurt with my chocolate protein powder and SF chocolate pudding mix. I could not stand the thought of another shake. I'm allowed a yogurt as a snack as part of my daily dairy intake per my pre-op diet directions. And let me tell you...it was yumm-o!

Really? Yeah even the people at my surgeon's office was saying that it was good:)
