Hi everyone! I am new to this site, and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Barb. I am scheduled for my sleeve surgery next month. I cannot wait to have my surgery and begin my healthy new life!!! I am a mom of a two year old boy who has a lot of energy. I want to be a healthy energetic mom that teaches my son to have a healthy, active life!

You should join the December 2012 forum that way all of us that had the surgery at the same time can keep in touch.

Hi Barb, welcome! I'm a 41 year old, soon to be grandma and I am scheduled for 12/19/12. I can't wait for my vsg. Will be beginning the new year a healthier person I'm in NC by the way. Good luck on the ride of your life.

Wow day after Christmas!

My daughter is in school and i dont have anyone to help with her and my son daily but I can send them to grandmas for winter break so that is why I am doing that day!

Hi fellow December sleevers!! I am having VSG with Dr. Jesus Ortiz in Tijuana Mexico on December 27th! Would have had it the 26th, but due to Christmas Day, couldn't re3ally ask the drivers to pick us up at the airport, lol. So the 27th it is! Good luck to all. I also live in North Carolina.

I am planning to see him either the first week in Feb or the first week in March...please be sure to post your opinions and as much of your experience as you wanna share. I would be very grateful!
