I was told by my Nut no straw. But lots of ppl still use them..

Sent from my iPad using VST

Mine said I could use a straw but I find everytime I do I end up with alot of air. I have to pull the liquid up, use my tongue to stop it, then breathe the air out through my mouth. It gets exhausting. I'd rather just drink. I was a straw person before, but not anymore.

It does cause pain I skip it all together...

I use a straw daily but it does not bother me, I started about 4 weeks out because I drink more with a straw. I fight the battle daily to get in enough fluids. If you feel like it bothers you do not use one. I know lots of nutritionists say NO.
