I've had to swamp myself with school work, music, sleep, ANYTHING to distract me. I don't even have a date yet but I'm obsessed with my surgery. It's become my life in the last few weeks.

They think I should lose the weight on my own and should never consider going to Mexico. (I am self pay). I am up at 3am looking on this board everynight, lurking, searching, trying to find answers. I can totally relate. I did a lot of research b4 making my decision on whether to go at all and which doc to use. As for my support system... They are reluctantly supportive. They don't agree with my choice but they've chosen to stand behind me... grudgingly.

I was the exact same way. I was totally obsessed and found it so hard to concentrate on anything else for the longest. When I had to push my date back twice I was so frustrated, I had to try to put it totally out of my mind to function.
