  11. I know we should start walking & cardio as soon as we can but what about squats and/or lunges? Just asking since its not really cardio and I would to try and do them as soon as I physically could. I am preop btw..surg on 12/19.

  13. I can totally relate, I was exactly the same way. I wanted some kind of sign to hit me in the head with the perfect doc. You really have to go with your gut. I feel like Dr. Garcia (who I completely believe is an excellent surgeon) gets more attn than PDL because he is more affordable. Shoot if I could afford more I would go to Dr. A. I was on the fence about Garcia and PDL too and I just went with my gut. I dont think you will go wrong with either of them. To be honest even after your decision is made you are still going to be nervous.
  14. Is it safe to take post op? I have to family members who have had gastric bypass several years ago and they said for the first month, their doc required they take it. Anyone with the sleeve try it? Oh and another question if I may, as I said their wls surgery was several years ago and they are able to eat pretty much everything. I know the question on the sleeved stomach being stretched has been thrown around, but I wonder if the way they can now eat will be similar to me in the future?
  15. Yes, I think you are right. If I remember correctly one of his patients mentioned the use of stockings during surgery as well.
