Staples Or Stiches?

I've had both. My sleeve was done 8/21 with staples, which were taken out the next day. They look beautiful. My gallbladder incisions were sealed with glue. Done 7 weeks after the sleeve. Same surgeon. They look horrible! All crusty and bumpy. Give me staples any day!

I agree, they seem to heal so much nicer!

They sure do! I look like I've been in a knife fight. Lol.

So the staples didn't hurt? I had glue/steri strips but I have not felt a TWINGE of pain. SO GRATEFUL for no pain!!!

I didn't have staples, I just the glue and mine healed very nicely. This is how they looked 4-5 days after surgery. 025.JPG

Not a bit. But....i've had two knee replacements with 20 plus staples on each knee, so maybe I'm prejudiced. The glue is making my skin so itchy!

Very nice! Are they vertical? Most are the other way, aren't they?

Hopefully you are not allergic to the glue, I have heard of some people having a allergic reaction. Lol I never noticed before that most have horizontal incisions!
