Thanks! I remember wearing that dress thinking how cute I looked. I looked pregnant! So thankful for my new, much more healthy body. Another 20-25 to go!

Thank you! Me either, girlfriend!

That's awesome to see! You started at about the same BMI as me so I hope I do as well as you. I'm going on a cruise in late February and I'd love to be an 8 by then! My surgery is this Tuesday.

Thanks fireball! I walk the track with my friend while my son has football practice 3 nights a week, and go to the gym and ride a bike 5 miles 2 other nights a week. I usually only walk 1.5 - 2 miles.

Before I go into my meals, my surgeon is very lenient. I do not count carbs or fat. I try to get Protein first but if I want a bite or two of a potato...well then that is what I do. Everything in moderation for me. This is not a diet as far as I am concerned. It is about a new, healthier me.

Normal day

B- One egg with a thin slice of some kind of white lower fat cheese

L- 8 or so turkey pepperoni a couple squares of some kind of fruit and 3 or 4 baby carrots.

S- Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of granola for crunch.

D- usually chicken, fish or Laura's lean beef incorporated into something. As a side I usually have a bite or two of cottage cheese, a few bites of salad or a veggie.

I drink one Powerade zero (32 oz), a 6 oz glass of skim milk, a 24 oz bottle of Water and a real caffeinated coffee with bad for you creamer but no extra sugar.

Lastly, my hubby wakes up at 3:00am for work and I get up and drink 1/2 of a premier Protein shake. I do this for 15 extra grams of protein and because any shake makes my stomach hurt. Doing it this way, I am fast asleep again and don't notice the rumbles.

Great job!!!!! You are rockin' those jeans!!!!

What a great idea! I'm in the exploration stage (consultation on Thursday), and the idea of chugging Protein shakes makes me sad. They make me feel sick now; I can't imagine how they'll make me feel with a smaller stomach. However, I've always made a practice of taking Vitamins and supplements at bedtime to sleep through the queasies. What a super idea to do the same with protein shakes!

Looking terrific!!! Woot woot!! :)))

Congrats on your success!! Your body looks amazing!!!
