Airplane Seats?

I just thought of something? What if I need 2 seats? I'm 5'9, 285 lbs. Maybe I should just have extra money just to be safe.

I'm 5'6 and was 300 and I was just fine with one seat... But always safe then sorry

I was 5' 6 and was 294..I was fine in one...

I was bigger than you for sure and I traveled in one seat. If you're worried, ask the flight attendant for a seat belt extender when you board. Good luck!

I fit in one seat at 5'5'' and 285 with both arm rests down and no seat belt extender. I think you should be fine.

I traveled from Springfield, MO to Minneapolis, MN in August. I am 5'4" and I was 340-ish and I only needed 1 seat AND I didn't need an seat belt extender!!! Happy Dance! Good Luck! :D

You mean travelling to Mexico? I would always suggest you travel with a card, or traveler's checks internationally!!!! and know where your nearest kiosk is, too.

yayayay! making plans! :)

I recently traveled Southwest, 5'6" 295lbs and fit fine and no seat belt extender needed. But as mentioned above, better safe than sorry. Good luck!

If you're still concerned, you can check the seat width for your specific plane type on seatguru.com
