Help! I Cheated On My Pre Op Diet

Today is my 7th day on my diet. My surgery is on Oct 2 and today I cheated for the first time and I was doing sooooo good. My diet consist of five shakes and bars and one small meal. I usually have two shakes and three bars with a 5oz chicken with veggies as my meal. Well today after my EGD I was so hungry and dizzy we went to ihop. My intention were to eat healthy but I was out of control. I ordered an omelet (egg substitute) with turkey bacon. Good so far right? THEN I STOLE ONE PANCAKE FROM MY HUSBAND. How much in trouble am I. My initial weight was 200 and today at the doctor I was 195, I need to loose five more pounds by Oct 2.

It sounds like you have been doing good so far, and you can get back on track and you will lose 5 lbs by Oct 2nd!! Stay positive and don't beat yourself up too bad!!

I'm also October 2nd and I get 3-4 shakes a day and water..that's it. But yesterday I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and I have to take my antibiotics with food and avoid milk..problem is my boost is made of milk! So I had a piece of chicken. I need to lose 3 lbs before surgery. Get back on track and we will be fine. Don't forget ur last day will be clear fluids only I'm sure u will drop some weight there

I was told glucerna which is a diabetic ensure but the carbs in each are like 25! So I looked into the boost diabetic drink and they are only 16 carbs in each and higher Protein. My doctor also okayed that. The Atkins advantage shakes are good too and low calorie

I am on 2 glucernas a day and still in ketosis. I am in taking so little carbs I dont think it's an issue. I am limited to 2.
