What Was Your Last Supper?

Before my pre-op diet I thought to have Olive Garden, but then I thought, I'll have it again...without the bread. So I had something I know I won't have for a long time. I cooked up Puerto Rican Arroz con Gandules (yellow rice and pigeon peas) and pan fried steak and onions. Yuuummmm. Now back to day for of Protein shakes. Arrrggghh

Mine was broiled chicken with fresh green spinach and whole corn. It was delicious!

I had planned to have as my last meal, Pub Fries from my favorite sports bar and a kiwi-tini... But we just happened to go there a week ago and I noticed they took them off the menu! Now, I actually have a date but don't have a "last meal". I have always been a french-fry-aholic and these pub fries (when they still had them) were big cut with the skin on them, melted cheddar cheese, spring onions and bacon. (my mouth is watering just typing that).

BBQ babyback ribs with Cheddar Herb Biscuits and a side of mac and cheese ;) That was last night today is my first day of pre op diet and boy do i have a headache :(

Shared appetizer of pan seared scallops, a ribeye that cut like butter, garlic mashed potatoes, ceasar salad to start and a glass of fine red wine at a lovely restuarant in Mexicali MX at the Hotel Lucerne. I had surgery the next morning and have never looked back!

Omg stop that is what I wanted my meal to be! My surgery wasn't supposed to be until October 24th and they called me last Monday telling me it was now sept 28th! So I didn't get a fairwell meal!!! I'm so tempted to eat one now cause I will just cleanse it out anyway lmao. Sorry I'm starving can you tell

I had a Argentinean pepper steak with a side of fresh tomatoes, blue cheese, red onion, cracked pepper and olive oil. I had a few bites of my husband au grating potatoes. It is my favorite french restaurant La Brasserie here in Bogota! Me encanta.

The next day I had my favorite salad from my favorite from Osaki. It has mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomatoes, egg plant and squash. I also had a few pieces of sushi.

The final day was from my favorite Italian place DeLucca's. I had a bit of lasagna, spinach stuffed ravioli, and fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. We each ordered a plate so I was able to have a bit of each.

The one think I must say about Bogota, Colombia. I LOVE THE RESTAURANTS! I do not miss chain dining one bit. The food is so fresh and delicious. I will miss that about Bogota.

So that was my weekend preop. I only gained a pound because I kept it in perspective.

I went to Lucille's and had 2 of their amazing biscuits and then had amazing tri tip steak with mashed potatoes! It was amazing and I ate it all!! And that was also the last time I had a diet coke...

Sent from my iPhone using VST

Salmon stuffed with the rice shrimp and lobster asparagus and home made mashed potatoes :) that was a week before my Pre-op diet.
