I could drink it about 2 weeks after.

I was able to drink decaf after 1week.

I was allowed decaf after the first week.

Thanks. I'm going.thru Kaiser and they didn't really mention anything about when I could start having it but I really want some.

I'd wait at least the above mentioned few weeks, perhaps longer, it's pretty acidic and may be a little too much on your still swollen stomach. Just go easy and if you get upset or nauseas then STOP, one sip more and you could be driving the porcelain bus :)

I'm 4 weeks out and I still can't drink tea. Leaded or unleaded. And I don't like herbal teas.

Wait...let me rethink this. I DISN'T like herbal teas. I should try some w my 'new' tastebuds. :-)
