Does The Hair Come Back?

To seasoned sleevers,

Does the hair that you lose post op really grow back? I'm so scared of this as I have thin hair to begin with. I know it's crazy, but I sometimes feel I'd rather be 90 pounds overweight than bald!

ive watched alot of you tube videos that address the hair loss issue and yes the hair will come back. from what ive learned it usually happens between 3-6 months post-op. not sure if it will help but im going to start vitamins before surgery and stay on them after and maybe that will help some...i dont want to lose my hair either!!!

This is a HUGE fear of mine. If I had a think head of hair I would feel better, but my hair is so thin to begin with that if I had a mild fall out, it would be horrible. I don't think I could rock a wig either. I think that night be my biggest fear.

Mine came back. I'm a year out. I did have thick hair to start, but it started thinning. It is getting thick again.

This is scary even knowing that it will come back so I know exactlly how y'all feel....this is def something I will talk to dr about and see what can be done to help. Some girl on you tube bought rogaine but I'm not sure if it helped or not.
